- Construction zone speeding: now $540
- No active vehicle registration: now $527
- Driving without a licence: now $351
High-risk offences see the steepest increases
- Excessive speeding (50+ km/h over): now $744 (up from $495)
- Stunting: now $852 (up from $567)
Speeding penalties now scale up sharply: $324 for 30 km/h over, $560 for 40 km/h over, and $744 for 50 km/h over. Drivers caught going more than 50 km/h over the limit will face a mandatory court appearance, with fines set by the court.
